A. Export Music from Adobe Premiere.
1. You should edit your Video Music project in Adobe Premiere. After you complete the project, you can export just audio track. This audio track will be used to get the timing in Substation Alpha.
To follow my tutorial, I've made a Video Music project. Download my tutorial.zip, and unzip it.
Go to Making Karaoke using SubstationAlpha & VirtualDub folder\Premiere project, then double-click MusicVideo.ppj
Adobe Premiere will open up. To play this project, press Enter on the keyboard to play in real time without rendering
To make Adobe Premiere 6.5 to use Real Time Preview as default, go to Project/Keyframe and Rendering...
Select Real Time Preview, then click

2. Click File/Export Timeline, then Audio...

4. Change yours to the setting below, then click
5. Change yours to the setting below, then click .
Substation Alpha can only use 8 bit mono audio file.
6. Go to Making Karaoke using SubstationAlpha &
VirtualDub folder, then type in the name: Music 8 bit Mono
Premiere.wav. Click
to continue.
